As an assistant pastor in other churches, I began to see the need for a new church in Windsor, one that would ‘stand in the  gap’ between God and the urban poor.  A church where the beggar could worship next to the building contractor – the home schooler next to the addict and the sinner next to the saint.

A place where loners could congregate, liars could tell the truth and the burned out could find a new wick.

I came and began to unwrap the simple idea – a church for the broken.  A church with songs that tell the story of God’s work in our lives.

And, the new songs are being prolifically written. New songs accompany fresh movements of God’s Spirit. The Spirit has decided to blow through Windsor and stir up broken lives long buried beneath the layers of bondage, betrayal and boxed in ambitions.

It is not just the story of Kevin Rogers’ dream. No, it is many people discovering they can sing the song that God has put in their heart – a new song of praise, prose and purpose.

        Operations Manager

Suzi has been on staff at New Song Church as Operations manager since the Fall of 2007.  Along with her husband Steve and 2 daughters, Suzi has been involved and attending New Song Church since about 2000.

Ministry in the church is far from something new to Suzi, she became a Christian at age 5, and was raised in a family that was devoted to God and  church ministry since before she was born.

During her time at New Song Church Suzi has been involved as a worship leader, in Roadhouse Youth ministry, and CORE leadership.

Now,  part of the staff as Operations Manager of New Song Church, Suzi manages the office and church scheduling as well as most of the administrative and financial aspects of New Song Church.

Suzi Green is a very important and vital part of our ministry team at New Song Church.  We would surely be lost without her ministry giftings, skills, and of course her infectious smile and crazy sense of humor.
